The brief
The UK Government has a legally binding target to become Net Zero by 2050. It has flowed this obligation to all Government Departments including the MOD.
The MOD required support to create a plan for the reduction of all of its activities, including scope 3 emissions from its +£200bn spend supply chain.
Business Management System Implementation and ISO Certification – Nisbets

The brief
Our client required a bespoke Business Management System covering the entire business. The system needed to meet both stringent ISO standards and manage complex internal processes. Nisbets wanted the prestige of ISO certifications and a system that also provided tangible business benefits.

The brief
Our client required a method for sustainability appraisal for its engineering and acquisition projects. The client needed to apply relevant and proportional sustainability considerations to its multi-million-pound, multiple equipment acquisition and through life management programmes.
Policy, Tools and Guidance for Sustainable Development
The Client: Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S)
The brief
DE&S required expert support to develop its approach to environmental management and sustainability, within its acquisition and through life support activities. The aim of the developments was to bring existing approaches up to date, make them more robust and to enhance clarity and usability. The team also developed new material where gaps were identified.
ISO Standards and Royal Warrant

The brief
Our client required a bespoke Business Management System covering the entire business. The system needed to meet both stringent ISO standards and manage complex internal processes. The client wanted the prestige of ISO certifications and a system that also provided tangible business benefits. In addition, our client required help to meet the rigorous sustainability requirements required by the Royal Warrant Household Association.
Environmental Management and Legal Compliance
The Client: Aribus.
The brief
Our client required environmental management support at its Filton site in Bristol. The site includes a former airfield and is a large industrial location with a workforce of approx. 5000 people. The site has been subject to heavy industry for over 100 years which presents a number of legacy issues. We also held responsibility for maintenance and application of the Airbus environmental management system.
